Empire of Flame and Thorns

 Empire of Flame and Thorns by Marion Blackwood is extraordinary and very much worth the read.  This is the first book by this author and I now wondering by I waited so long.

The story is a winner with twist and turns and a love and hate relationship between enemies.  The story is about Selena Hale, who is a very strong willed, knows the path she wants for her life and she will not be diverted from that plan. She need to win the Atonement Trials to receive her freedom from the Dragon shifters. She knows she will have to outwit, fight and play dirty to win against over fae's, but never against Draven Ryat. Draven the ruthless commander of the dragon shifter army and is determined to stop Selena at all cost.

I highly recommend reading "Empire of Flame and Thorns" as your next summer read.

The Final Target

Another exceptional book by an exceptional author. I've been a fan of Nora Roberts books for several years and after every book I say this one is my favorite. I have to say that "The Final Target" is right at the top of favorite books.

The book pulled me in at the first page and the characters were well written. I really can't say which one was my favorite, because I like everything about each one.

Have you ever read a book you just couldn't put down, every page is pulling you to the next page, and you spend time hoping the story would continue when you get to the end? That this book!

I highly recommend "The Final Target" by Nora Robert by giving it a 5 stars.

Endless Pursuit

 I have no idea why I waited so long to read this book!

I couldn't put it down. The story of Braden and Poppy pulls you in from the start. I felt the characters were well written and I just love how they interactive together. Poppy was a strong women who knows what she wanted in life. She wants a relationship that lead to marriage and children. Then she meets Braden, aka the Butcher, who is out for nothing but a good time. He has no desire to give Poppy anything she wants.

I highly, highly recommend this book by Bethany Rosa. You can't go wrong!!

The Wallflower

What can I say about this book? It was hard to put down, it was captivating and intriguing all wrapped up in one!

Only on game day

 "Only on Game Day" is the first book by Kristen Callahan I've read, and I'm in love. The author brings us a captivating, funny romance that will be hard to put down.

The main characters August Luck and Penelope Morrow are well written. August is a football QB with a problem that only Penelope can solve. He needs to improve his image and who better but a family friend. You will see the relationship go through ups and down, but like a romance these things happen.

The Luck family had me laughing through most of the book with their great names and funny attitudes. They will make you want to be in their family.

I highly recommend this book!

A Bedtime Story

 This novel wasn't my normal read or is it a normal romance story. Its a dark story about being keep against your will, by a mob king.

 The characters are well written and the story line flows nicely. It will pull you in from the first few pages, then when the book ended I wanted the story to continue.  There are dark parts of the story were a struggle but the story couldn't be told like it was without the dark sections. You will see how being held can change a person from being afraid to become a strong person whom can overcome, or how a evil heart can learn to love.

The Seven Rings

 

If your looking for a captivating, intriguing and just a all around great read look no further than "The Lost Bride Trilogy" by award winning author Nora Roberts.

First thing about "The Seven Rings" is that its not a read alone. You will need to start with "Inheritance" and the "Mirror" books first to understand about what is taking place in "The Seven Rings".

This book like the others will pull you in from the very beginning. To this point you will come to love all the characters that are human and other whys still living in their spirit! I hate to see this series end, because it has been my all time favorite by Nora Roberts. 

I highly recommend this series to anyone that likes romance, mystery and lives in the past and present.
