His Lady in Hiding
By
Jen Geigle Johnson

I have to start out by saying this is the first book by Jen Geigle Johnson I've read and it defiantly will not be the last.  This book was a great page turner with several twist and turns. The story just pulls you in to the point you are wondering "What's Next".  "His Lady in Hiding" is a great regency period piece.  The main characters are very likable. The only negative part was I didn't want the story to end.

I will recommend this book to other's

Rating is 5 out of 5

 "A Letter From Munich"
 by
Meg Lelvis

What a gripping page turner!

"A Letter From Munich" by Meg Lelvis  was a great story that starts out in 2012, where two brothers found a letter to their father at the end of WWII from a women in Munich. Will this letter explain why their dad was a different man when he came back home from the war. The letter held questions that needed to be answered. The only way to find the answers was to go to Germany and find Ariane.  What will Jack Bailey find in Germany? What will be learn about the liberation of Dachau?

This is a well researched book. It opened my eyes about what the war must have been like. This is the first book by Meg Lelvis I've read and t will not be the last.

I highly recommend this book to anyone whom like a great historical book!

I am rating this book with a 5 out of 5

 "When I Meet You"
By
Olivia Newport

Synopsis - A trunk abandoned at Denver's Union Station more than a century ago leads Jillian and Nolan to untangle the mystery on its content, which is with Pinkerton's National Detective agency at the Denver office. Nolan research the legal papers, which was found inside, while Jillian looks for the rightful owners.

My thoughts - Another great mystery with Nolan and Jillian, father and daughter team. "When I Meet you" by Olivia Newport was a wonderful addition to the "Tree of Life" series.  This is a stand alone book but I really enjoyed reading them in order.  The character's were well written and so likable. I was pulled into the story from the very first page.  I have to say that my favorite part is the relationship between Nolan and Jillian.  They both have a part to do. Nolan on the legal side and Jillian on the research side. I love the whole aspect of the genealogy aspect of the story.

I will gladly recommend this book to other's.

My rating is a five out of five.

Before I call you mine by Nicole Deese

Before I called you mine
By
Nicole Deese

Synopsis - Lauren Bailey may be a romantic at heart, but there is only one match she's committed to now - The one that makes this teacher a mother. The international adoption had one requirement and that was to stay single for the foreseeable future. This wasn't a problem till Joshua came into the picture.  Joshua had a passion for creating educational technology as fascinating as his actions in the classroom. Though she tries to downplay the connection between them, his relentless pursuit of her heart her commitment to stay single to the test.

My thought -  I love how Nicole Deese has written this book to feel like you are right there. This is the first book by Nicole Deese I've read and now I want to read all of her books in the near future. I usually like historical christian, but this romance christian book has a lot of aspect in it that I liked. I love how I was pulled into the storyline from the very first page and never could put the book down. You can see the love Lauren has for children in her teaching.  I fell in love with Joshua. He was funny from his first scene in the book.  All the characters are likeable.

I would love to recommend this book to anyone wanting a funny, tearful and loveable book.

Rating - I give this book a rating of a 5 out of 5
