Behind The Wire by James D. Shipman

This book was amazing!  It has a lot of suspense and it pulled me in from the very first page. The story was a page -turner to see what would happen to the life of Jakub and Anna.

Being two of several prisoners in a concentration camp was not easy. The daily routine was the same every day.  The prisoners had to try not the let the SS know they were sick. They would be sent to the hospital and you had a chance of not returning.

The author was able to bring the story to life. I loved all the characters and all were very realistic.

I would recommend this book to anyone who might like WWII stories.

I will give this book a 5 out of 5 stars

This book was given to me for a honest.

The Bookseller of Dachau by Shari J. Ryan

What can I say about this author. She is one amazing writer. She wrote a book of hope and also about the hurt and pain the Jews went through. There was sections where it brought tears to my eyes but also caused me really think about how one person started with hatred. I love how she pulled me in from the very beginning. My favorite part is how the book switched from past to present.

I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars

Labyrinth of lies by Irene Hannon

Irene Shannon has written outstanding book's but I have to say that this is my all-time favorite. "Labyrinth of Lies" is such a page-turner and has characters that pull you into the storyline.

The story starts with Cate Reilly a detective whom goes undercover at a all girls school, because one of the girls disappeared.  Cate is a very strong character and very likeable. While she is at Ivy Hill Academy, Cate runs into none other than a man from her past. Zake Sloan whom is also undercover. He's working on stopping a drug cartel that maybe working out of the academy. Zake is likable also!

A Christmas in the Alps is a story about a young woman who is on a quest that her great great grandma left in a note. Simon is a strong character who struggled with one area of her life.

Kyle is a very handsome, Christian man who help Simon overcome her fear through praying.

Lady in attendance by Rachel Fordham

I have to say it again! Rachel Fordham knocked it out of the park with "Lady in Attendance". I love all of Rachel's book's and recommend you read all of them!

You will fall in love with this book!  The story is about Gilbert and Hazel. Hazel is trying to hide her past from when she was in a reformatory and Gilbert doesn't know about having a woman for a assistant in his dentistry. Gilbert seem unsure about women all together. The characters are so likeable and each chapter sends you on a journey to wanting to read the next.

The Chase by Lisa Harris

Lisa Harris is a author that I really love, but "The Chase" was a little disappointment.  I felt "The Chase" was slow at the beginning, but pick-up some after several chapters.  The two main characters Madison and Jonas are very likeable and whom you will come to love. Madison returns to work after she was shot three month's early. She has no idea whom shot her. Jonas was her partner who is a strong American man. The first chapter shows how the team works together through out the book.

I will still recommend this book to family and friends even though it wasn't my favorite of her books.

The Germany Nurse by M.J. Hollows

Not what I thought this book would be like.  The German Nurse was hard to follow and not much of a page-turner.  I can't give this book a 5 star rating but I would a 3. There are good areas of the storyline, just few and far. I have to say the ending was good!

Between The Wild Branches by Connilyn Cossette

Connilyn has done it again with "Between The Wild Branches".  I was mesmerized by such a wonderfully written book by Connilyn Cassette. " Between The Wild Branches " is the second book in The Covenant House series. I have to recommend reading "To Dwell Among Cedars" first.  I loved returning to the lives of Lukio and Shoshana. It is a book that made me cry in one section and laugh in another.

What a page turner, adventurous story. Connilyn knows how to pull you into the storyline from the very beginning draws you back in time.

I would highly recommend this book anyone who loves a great story!

Come back to me by Jody Hedlund

When I first read the description of this book "Come back to me" from Revell, I thought why not read something different.  This is the first time I've read one of Jody Hedlund so that was new also.

I love reading all type of Christian book, but haven't found a time travel book I've liked. "Come back to me" was the very first. The story pulled me in from the very first pages. The characters were well written. I fell in love with William and Marian.  They brought the book alive for me. The book had lots of twist and turns. I definitely say this is one amazing book.

I would love to give this book 5  out of 5 star's

No Journey to Far by Carrie Turansky

What a wonderful continuation of the McAlister family. Carrie Turansky is one of my favorite Christian writer. She has a way of pulling you into the story from the very beginning.

Description - A family long divided, a mysterious trunk, and a desperate journey across the sea - all in the name of love. The epic saga of the McAlister continues in this rivet sequel to No Ocean Too Wide. In 1909, Grace was sent to Canada with thousands children through British Home Children. She was lucky to be adopted by a great couple, not everyone was that fortunate. She found a trunk that let her know that she had another family. She will search for her real family.

The story of Garth begins with him returning from the Great War. He will leave England in search of his little sister and his girlfriend Emma, who said she would wait for him. His adventure begins with him going to see his girlfriend and she isn't where she was supposed to be.

My thoughts -  I spent a lot of time wondering what would happen to the McAlister family in this book. I knew all but one child was found and we would be reading about Grace and her journey.  I fell in love with the characters and their story during this continue sage. I have to say that I really liked the parts of the story that during difficulty they was always communication with their Lord. I learned about how British Home Children were treated when people would find out about them. They were looked down at!

Rating - I give this book a five out of five stars

Never Miss by Melissa Koslin

Never Miss is Melissa Koslin debut book. I liked the book, but I feel that after Melissa develops her form of writing her second book will be great.

In the first few pages the book caught my attention, but after that I struggled with staying focus. The character was likeable, but the one thing that I hated was the word "perfect". " Perfect was used to describe several times.  I have to say that my all time favorite character is Max the cat. I love the fact that max was like a human.

I like to end with the fact that I will read more from this author.

I will recommend this book to family and friend.

I give this book a 4 out of 5

You see how Adrian grows from a young girl who see her father die to a very strong adult, whom determines her own path in life. You see friendships develop and how important friend's are in your life. There is a mystery, which I really loved. You know how you try to determine who's doing it. When her manager - boyfriend lets her know about a upcoming audition to host a makeover show for underprivileged youth. Miriam Song by Jill Eileen Smith

The book "Miriam Song" is a depiction of the life of Miriam (Moses sister) and Moses.  I have to say that this wasn't my favorite book by Jill Eileen Smith, but it still a good book.

The bible says very little about the life of Miriam, so it was good to read the story though the imagination of the author. I know that Jill Eileen Smith is a author who does tons of research to get the information as real as possible. She like to pull you into the story and she has here. The only negative to me was there were sections that were slow and lost my interest.

I will be recommending this books to others through social media, friends and family.

I will give the book a 5 out of a five
