In Love's Time by Katie Breslin

I love, love, love this book! What a captivating story from Katie Breslin. She knows how to write the best Christian Fiction.

In the middle of WW1 Captain Marcus Weatherford arrives in Russia on a top secret mission with Russian ballerina posing as his wife. His mind wasn't really on the mission at hand. He was wondering how he was going to get Clara back. On the mission   Marcus ended up in a military hospital with no memory. Clare Danner is a single mother who would do anything to keep here daughter's grandparents from taken her away from Clara. How can she get Marcus to help her when he doesn't remember her or anything else.

What a wonderful story. The author knows how to pull you in from the very beginning. It was hard for me to put down. You will be reading and could not help but wonder what is going to happen next with the characters. I love all the characters but really registered with Clara. She was on a very strong woman whom knew what she wanted especially when it came to her daughter. You have to cheer for Marcus and Clara.

"Stay with Me" by Jody Hedlund

Wow! What a great addition to the "Water of Time" series. There is everything you would want in this book. You will find adventure, romance that is sweet one minute and sparks the next!  I've read all the books by Jody Hedlund and they are all fantastic.

Synopsis - Sybil Hurham a private investigator has seen her fair share of strange occurrences. The was nothing in her career to prepare her for the miracles of drinking Holy Water. Sybil found some of this Holy Water to go back in the past. Nicholas Worth has never met a woman quite like Sybil. She has strange clothes, disappears one minute and back again and is very beautiful. Sybil saves Nicholas and then they start running for their lives.

My thoughts - "Stay With Me" was one amazing book with a wonderful storyline. I fell in love with the characters and the were so well written. Whirlwind by Dana McNeely

What a great Christian Historical Fiction book by Dana McNeely.  Whirlwind brings a wonderful insight to a biblical story.

Synopsis - Miriam traveled to take care of her cousins son. He worked his way into her heart. Gershon a quiet and kind man who is happy building a life for his wife, son and aging parents. When his wife died, he has to decide if he should wait till his heart heals or marry sooner.  Dov, a young officer has crossed the path of the bird girl whom is from his past. He is a career soldier and he anticipated death in Samaria till the prophet pledged victory.

My thoughts - This is the first book I've read by Dana McNeely. This will not be the last!  Whirlwind is the second book in the "Whispers on the Wind" series. Each book could be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading the first book "Rain" before Whirlwind.  The storyline was excellent and it was a very fast read. It was hard for me to put down even for a new cup of coffee. I can tell that the author really researched the story in the bible. I'm will spend time now anticipating Dana McNeely's next novel!

Recommend - I recommend this book on social media, Amazon, bookbud, Goodreads, Wal-Mart and Barnes and Noble.

Rating - I gladly give Whirlwind a 5 out of 5 rating.

All the lost places by Amanda Dykes

Quote - "Life was a kaleidoscope, lite by the Mediterranean sun through colorful glass in shop window."

Synopsis - When a baby was discovered floating in a basket along the canals of Venice. In 1807, A guild of artisans took him in and thought him their trades.  His name was Sebastian. Sebastian was questioning where he came from and was finally getting clarity when a woman washed up on his lagoon island. Decades later, Daniel Goodman is given A fresh start at life by translating A rare book in Venice.

My thoughts - The one thing I love about Amanda Dykes book's is there is always A secret message. She knows how to pull her reader's into the story.  She also has a way of making the story come to life. The characters are well written and realistic. The book was very hard to put down, even for a cup of coffee.

Recommend - I will recommend "All the Lost Places" to family, friends, and others through social media and retail site's like Amazon, Bookbud, Wal-Mart, Barnes and Nobles, and Goodreads.
