A Bedtime Story

 This novel wasn't my normal read or is it a normal romance story. Its a dark story about being keep against your will, by a mob king.

 The characters are well written and the story line flows nicely. It will pull you in from the first few pages, then when the book ended I wanted the story to continue.  There are dark parts of the story were a struggle but the story couldn't be told like it was without the dark sections. You will see how being held can change a person from being afraid to become a strong person whom can overcome, or how a evil heart can learn to love.

The Seven Rings

 

If your looking for a captivating, intriguing and just a all around great read look no further than "The Lost Bride Trilogy" by award winning author Nora Roberts.

First thing about "The Seven Rings" is that its not a read alone. You will need to start with "Inheritance" and the "Mirror" books first to understand about what is taking place in "The Seven Rings".

This book like the others will pull you in from the very beginning. To this point you will come to love all the characters that are human and other whys still living in their spirit! I hate to see this series end, because it has been my all time favorite by Nora Roberts. 

I highly recommend this series to anyone that likes romance, mystery and lives in the past and present.

The Sisterhood

 What a great story once you get into it! The story was a little slow to begin with, but soon picked up. The characters were likable and well written. While reading I didn't realize this was a Emily detective mystery, so I don't know if this a stand alone. I plan on reading the other books in the series to see.

I recommend this book because even though it was slow to start it was worth the read!

The Lost Passengers

 I think I've read every book written about the unsinkable ship , the Titanic. I love this book from the beginning. I keep in intrigued and really pulled me into the story! Though the book was extremely sad you will see the strength and love in the end. The character were well written along with the storyline. I highly recommend this book to you who like the Titanic and a great story.

Simple put this book is fantastic and a must read! The "Courting the Country Preacher" is a book that has four different stories about country preachers on the path to love. The storylines were placed in four different settings. You will see the work of God in each preachers lives and how they overcome. The characters were well written and very likeable. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and will love passing it a must read!

Broken Country

 I have to say the description of the book had me intrigued. I was wrong.  I really struggled with getting into the book and even trying to stay involved into the book. There were several area's that I thought didn't have to be part of the story. I have to say the characters were well written, but the going back and forth made it hard to keep up with the characters.

A Healing Touch

 As a avid reader of Christian fiction book there are certain things I like to see in a book! "A Healing Touch" by Suzanne Woods Fisher has the things I look for. Suzanne Woods Fisher is a great author and you can never go wrong with her books!

My thoughts - One of the things I look for in is a strong Christian base.  Also, I have to like the characters. I have to feel like the characters are real and not just part of a story. I fell in love the characters and the storyline was flowed nicely. You will see the love the main character Ruth "Dok" Stoltz the care she has for her patients. 

Rating - I have to give this book a perfect score of. 5 stars

Recommend - I highly recommend "A Healing Touch" to all that like a great Christian based book.
